Disgraced former HBOS boss Andy Hornby gives Channel 4 News the cold shoulder
April 15th, 2013
Ten days ago the former bosses of HBOS were accused of a “colossal failure of management” by the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards. Today Channel 4 News’s business correspondent Siobhan Kennedy tried to catch up with the bank’s former chief executive, Andy Hornby. Now chief executive of the betting chain Gala Coral, Hornby did not seem very eager to talk or to volunteer to give up his £242,000-per-year HBOS pension.
Here is what Channel 4 News’s Jon Snow tweeted about it earlier today:-
It’s our job as journalists..every time any one of the disgraced HBOS trio break cover, to go after them for answers on pensions and titles

I wholeheartedly agree.
Here’s some other tweets about Hornby
After being chased round a building by Channel 4 surely Andy Hornby’s spinners will suggest he speaks on HBOS soon?

Intriguing that Andy Hornby couldn’t face our cameras – even complained about being ‘doorstepped’: these disgraced HBOS bosses dont get it..

@steve_hawkes #HBOS > Andy Hornby – I didn’t know that we granted millions of fraudulent mortgages, but they sure boosted my bonus !
