I have once again been shortlisted for Journalist of the Year at the State Street Institutional Press Awards, probably the UK’s premier awards for financial journalism. This time it was for articles that appeared in the Financial Times’ FTfm fund management supplement.
I think the articles considered by the judges included A fund for all seasons with simple secrets for success (published January 17th, 2011) and Lack of liquidity bad for bond funds (published July 3rd 2011).
Congratulations are due to FTfm’s Steve Johnson who won both the investment category and the pensions category for national newspapers. My fellow QFINANCE blogger Anthony Harrington was shortlisted for the online/wire category. The full list of winners and runners up was announced at a lunch in Soho House, Shoreditch on Wednesday.
